>>  Why KinTrak?

KinTrak has been developed by clinicians for clinicians and provides:

  • an easy to use & scalable clinical information system
  • data integrity and consistency
  • seamless interfacing with the Progeny system
  • fast and logical data access and retrieval
  • increased data effectiveness

>>  What benefits does KinTrak offer over other client management systems?

KinTrak has been specifically developed by a team of Microsoft Certified Developers and clinical staff to achieve the right balance of flexibility and data integrity for clinical services.

The original program has been developed and refined with feedback from over hundred users in different clinical and research settings on three continents

KinTrak has also been developed and exhaustively tested to cope with 30 or more simultaneous users. These users may be co-located (using local network) or distributed over thousands of kilometres at outreach clinics.

KinTrak is fully compatible and seamlessly integrated with the Progeny pedigree drawing system, Progeny2000. These two programs together provide a consistent and robust foundation for clinical services, together with unlimited capacity to adapt the database for clinical or research purposes.

>>  When converting to KinTrak will we lose our current data?

During the installation process KinTrak will work with the client to create Data Conversion scripts that will manage this process. Once this has been completed Clinic staff will receive training in the program from a KinTrak trainer and a period of time to familiarise themselves with system before going live.
