KinTrak

KinTrak is a Clinical Management System for familial disorders.

It has been developed by specialist clinicians, genetic counsellors, administrative staff, and software developers to assist any health-care professional who cares for both patients and their relatives.

KinTrak has its own a sophisticated yet user-friendly interface for the efficient collection, display, and reporting of information about individuals and families. KinTrak also interfaces seamlessly with Progeny, the market leader in pedigree drawing and genetic data management.

This enables clinical and administrative staff to effectively and efficiently manage data across both systems.

The data is held in a single datafile, and so is immediately available for analysis, reporting, or display using the interface of your choice.

• Sophisticated pedigree drawing, data grids of lineage or selections across families, many data export formats.

 

Each user can open the KinTrak interface, the Progeny interface, or both.

You only purchase as many interfaces as you need for your staff at the time. Additional licenses can be purchased at any time without compromising data integrity or your operations.

You select the mix of interfaces that will best meet the needs of your patients, your staff, and your budget.

What benefits does KinTrak offer over other Access based client managements systems?

KinTrak has been specifically developed by a team of Microsoft Certified Developers and clinical staff to achieve the right balance of flexibility and data integrity for clinical services.

The original program has been developed and refined with feedback from over hundred users in different clinical and research settings on three continents

KinTrak has also been developed and exhaustively tested to cope with 30 or more simultaneous users.

These users may be co-located (using local network) or distributed over thousands of kilometres at outreach clinics.

KinTrak is fully compatible and seamlessly integrated with the Progeny pedigree drawing system, Progeny2000.

These two programs together provide a consistent and robust foundation for clinical services, together with unlimited capacity to adapt the database for clinical or research purposes.

When converting to KinTrak will we lose our current data?

During the installation process KinTrak will work with the client to create Data Conversion scripts that will manage this process.

Once this has been completed Clinic staff will receive training in the program from a KinTrak trainer and a period of time to familiarise themselves with system before going live.
